We operate an international scholarship program for faculty without a doctorate degree to foster the next generation of leaders in developing countries. The influence of this program has been strengthened by gradually expanding the number of selected students, the diversity of majors, and the range of regions. We promote academic exchange through a close-knit graduate network, building strong ties with major universities in developing countries and expanding our global impact.
Selected students study as regular students for one or two semesters at approximately 260 partner institutions. Every year, about 600 students gain experience abroad, while approximately 1,000 foreign university students study and build connections at our university.
About 700 students worldwide participate in this international summer course, with lectures in English by professors from SNU and overseas. Students can immerse themselves in various academic fields, cultural experiences and courses on Korea and East Asia.
